2005 Election Results
September 18, 2005
The provisional results are in.
Without special votes, Libertarianz received 926 party votes, or 0.05%. Like the other small parties, we have been swamped by the amazing recovery of the National Party.

I got 44 votes. :)
At the end of day, a thousand people all over New Zealand decided to stand up for themselves, and voted unequivocally for freedom. These people have sent a clear 'get stuffed' signal to the politicians who believe they have the right to run our lives. To every person who voted for Libertarianz or for a Libertarianz candidate: I salute you.
Though we may not have gotten the number of votes we would have liked, as an organisation, Libertarianz is in great form. We will continue to fight for the freedom of all New Zealanders. Watch this space! :)

If the results for Northland have taught me just one thing, it's this.
